1. Introduction

Welcome to Astranda! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Astranda’s platform, services, and experiences (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using Astranda, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. About Astranda

Astranda provides students with simulated remote work experiences in partnership with businesses (“Partner Companies”). These experiences are designed for educational and career exploration purposes only and do not create an employment relationship.

3. Eligibility

Students: You must be at least 15 years old, and if under 18, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Companies/Partners: You must be authorized to represent your business and enter into binding agreements.

By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts and Registration

Users may be required to create an account and provide accurate, complete information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

Astranda reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any misuse, false information, or breach of these Terms.

5. Services Provided

For Students: Access to simulated workplace tasks, projects, and career exploration opportunities with real companies.

For Companies: A platform to design and host simulated experiences for students.

Limitations: Astranda is not an employer, does not guarantee internships, jobs, or hiring, and does not provide accredited educational certification.

6. User Conduct

By using Astranda, you agree not to:

Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.

Submit inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful content.

Attempt to access restricted areas, hack, or disrupt the Services.

Use Astranda for any commercial purpose without written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Astranda (text, graphics, designs, logos, software, etc.) is owned by Astranda or its partners and protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, or modify content except as permitted within the Services.

Student submissions remain the intellectual property of the student, but by submitting, you grant Astranda and Partner Companies a limited license to review, evaluate, and provide feedback.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

Astranda provides educational simulations only and does not guarantee employment, admissions, or business outcomes.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

Astranda disclaims all liability for damages arising from use of the Services, except where prohibited by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Astranda shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Astranda’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Termination

Astranda may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct. You may also stop using the Services at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
